Drive leads and conversions to help ClearCo grow by redesigning their lead-generating landing page, which targets founders looking for capital.

Clearco is a Toronto based provider of revenue sharing solutions to fund new online businesses, and other e-businesses. It was co-founded by Michele Romanow, a Canadian tech entrepreneur, television personality, board director and venture capitalist.

ClearCo had an existing landing page but felt it was severely under-performing so they reached out asking for my help. I assessed the page and identified what needed to be addressed: The existing page was plain, informational, and full of bank language and jargon. It was overwhelming for someone who had no experience or knowledge on how to get funding. It was verbose, mostly black and white, and struggled to clearly express what ClearCo does for founders, and why they should be trusted. All I wanted was to leave the page.

Identifying that the majority of these businesses are CPG and DTC companies also helped formulate the argument that success would require reframing ClearCo not as a bank, but as a business established by a fellow entrepreneurs that exist primarily within the ECommerce space.

By updating the visuals and language to be more vibrant, modern, and a little less serious, as well as utilizing DTC/EComm website UX and design tricks, Clearco’s landing page now conveys the idea that ClearCo is the leading funding solution for their audience.
